SC Moatti

SC Moatti is the Founding Managing Partner of Mighty Capital, a Silicon Valley venture firm that capitalizes on the growing importance of product managers in enterprise success. She earned her reputation as a “genius at making products people love” during the cloud/mobile era, when she built products that billions of people use at Siebel Systems and Meta, won industry awards and nominations from the Wall Street Journal and the Emmys, and wrote an award-winning bestseller on what makes a great product. As a venture capitalist honored on the Kauffman Top 30 Index, she invested in pioneering companies like Amplitude (NASDAQ: AMPL), Groq, and Canela. SC earned a master’s in electrical engineering and a Stanford MBA, and is a Kauffman Fellow and member of YPO.

Jennifer Vancini
Jennifer Vancini

Jennifer Vancini is a Founding General Partner of Mighty Capital. Jennifer has been investing for 10 years, and prior to Mighty Capital built Pointgrey Partners, a family investment office where she achieved a 15x cash-on-cash return. Prior, she held executive roles in corporate and strategic business development, especially in the high-growth security and mobile sectors with companies such as Telefonica, Symbian/Nokia, and Certicom, which she helped take public in Canada. Jennifer currently chairs the Dean’s Advisory Council at the University of British Columbia, where she completed her MBA.

Renee Niemi
Renee Niemi

Renee Niemi is a Partner at Mighty Capital. She has spent most of her career creating high impact products and businesses that make a difference in consumers’ lives. She has also held a number of product and executive leadership roles at Logitech, Google and Plantronics. Renee holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Michael Paris is a Principal at Mighty Capital, spearheading our Ignite strategy, and an AI visionary with over 20 patents. Prior to transitioning into investing, he was a product leader at Drive.ai and Intuitive Surgical. With a strong background in technology, he is a strategic innovator known for creating products that delight customers and differentiate companies.

Victoria Chen
Victoria Chen

Victoria Cheng is an Advisor at Mighty Capital, spearheading our Ignite strategy, and a seasoned venture capitalist who backed category-defining startups like Braze, Plaid, Hopper, DataRobot, UniteUs, and Ripple. Most recently, Victoria was a Partner at PruVen Capital, managing $675M in AUM and advising Prudential’s executive leadership on growth through innovation. Victoria holds a BS from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School and is a Kauffman Fellow.

Kavon Badie

Kavon Badie is a Senior Associate at Mighty Capital. Prior, he served in investment roles at Village Capital, Recursive Capital, and Greenspring Associates. He also founded MZZ Ventures, an organization that connected global talent with startups in the global south. Kavon holds a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland.

Jay Hum

Jay (Jason) Hum is a Product Fellow at Mighty Capital and an Advisory Board member at Products that Count. He has shipped breakthrough products that delight users, scaled a platform to support billions of data points, and led cross-functional teams that transform industries. Jay has worked with pre-revenue startups and Fortune 100 enterprises, including Facebook/Meta, Ford, NFL, Phillips 66, and Samsung. He’s always up for a good conversation about “why didn’t this exist before?”

Sarfraz Nawaz

Sarfraz Narwaz serves as Product Fellow at Mighty Capital and is a Product Leader and Operator with 15 years of experience in Data and AI product management. His career includes impactful roles at Microsoft, Apple, Johnson & Johnson, Oracle, and fast-growing startups, where he drove digital strategy, Data platform development, and analytics infrastructure. He holds a MS in Computer Science from Columbia University.

Iris Chan
Iris Chan

Iris Chan is a Venture Partner at Mighty Capital. She has a strong background in business and commercial banking. She previously served as an executive in commercial banking at Wells Fargo. She is currently on the Board of Directors at East West Bank Corp and a Principal at Ameriway, Inc. Her experience includes capital management, board governance, channel management, and business strategy.

Naeem Raza
Naeem Raza

Naeem Raza is a Venture Partner at Mighty Capital. Prior, he founded, ran and eventually sold Annams Systems Corporation/Sunflower Systems. Naeem holds MS degrees in Computer Science and Systems Management from Florida Institute of Technology. In addition, Naeem also has a MBA and a BA in Economics and Sociology.

With over 20 years of product leadership experience, she has scaled SaaS businesses to $300M ARR, led cross-functional teams of 30+ people, and pioneered AI/ML-driven personalization strategies that increased engagement by 20-30% at companies like Newsela, StubHub, and Sephora.

Mike Gilley
Mike Gilley

Mike Gilley is a Venture Partner at Mighty Capital. He is seasoned professional with an illustrious career spanning 39 years in the information technology sector. He has held significant positions at prominent companies such as SynOptics/Bay Networks, Check Point Software, and Juniper Networks, as well as several innovative startups. His expertise in sales and leadership has been instrumental in driving growth and achieving outstanding results in each of these organizations.

Chris Dunn
Chris Dunn, M.D.

Dr. Chris Dunn is a Venture Partner at Mighty Capital. Prior, he was the Chief Medical Officer of Sequoia Hospital. Over the last 25 years he has been investing his time and expertise in medically related startup companies. He has also done medical mission work through his local church in countries of Africa, Middle East, Latin America, and South America.

Joe King
Joe King

Joe King is a Product Fellow at Mighty Capital. His rich tech history started on the Windows 1.0 dev team. He built AI tools in the 90s at a startup acquired back into Microsoft, where he garnered half his 32 patents. Joe held business, engineering and product leadership positions for 15 years at Amazon, where he helped define the Product Manager role and led product for the launch of Amazon Studios. Later he was CPO at TuneIn.

Vasu Murthy
Vasu Murthy

Vasu Murthy is a CPO Fellow at Mighty Capital. He is the Chief Product Officer at Cohesity. He has built products at every scale—from startups to global enterprise software companies, usually at the intersection of data and security. He has held executive and product leadership roles at Rubrik, Oracle, and DataScaler, an in-memory database company acquired by Oracle. Vasu is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur.

Kevin Bernal
Kevin Bernal

Kevin Bernal is a Senior Associate at Mighty Capital. Previously, he was on the founding team of a venture-backed startup. Kevin began his career at JPMorgan, where he worked across payments, institutional wealth management, and international strategy, supporting tech entrepreneurs at later stages. He holds a B.A. in Economics from CUNY, is an alumnus of GoingVC, and is currently pursuing an MBA at IE Business School.

Matthew Houston
Matthew Houston

Matthew Houston leads Strategic Partnerships at Mighty Capital, building relationships with enterprises, channel partners, and investors. Previously, he drove sales and finance at a global motorcycle brand, then ran a startup accelerator, and is still mentor to founders at Alchemist Accelerator. Matthew brings sales discipline, financial fluency, and hands-on founder support to craft partnerships with clear business cases and measurable outcomes.

Ashley Whitehurst
Ashley Whitehurst

Ashley Whitehurst is the Chief of Staff of Mighty Capital. Prior, she was a Managing Director at LAUNCH Fund where she was responsible for fund administration, deal operations, startup legal, and investor relations. She also served on several boards in both a Director and Observer capacity. She holds a Bachelors Degree from San Diego State University and has completed the Venture Capital Executive Program at UC Berkeley Extension.
