We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as a Controller and have a direct impact our organization. They will be responsible for managing the finance and operations of the firm, performing analysis, coordinating vendor activities, and taking on other ad-hoc tasks. 

Controller Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review quarterly direct investment fund financial statements and related GP letters for multiple funds and oversee delivery to investors
• Oversee the audits of all direct investment funds and management funds 
• Manage valuation processes for all direct investments
• Manage the process for all capital calls and distributions to the investors  
• Manage all financing rounds for each new investment including: cap table review, term sheet and docs review working closely with the Investment Team
• Prepare financial models and design all the internal reporting metrics necessary to monitor and manage business operations
• Manage cash requirements for each fund to ensure that cash is always available for the investing programs and expense obligations of the funds
• Assist with tax returns including K-1 s with outside firms

Skills Required:

• 5 + years of directly relevant experience
• Experience in venture capital
• Excellent financial analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including presentations
• Accounting or Finance degree required, CPA a plus
• Extremely organized
• Hands on experience with working, training, and coaching staff
• Ability to maintain high degree of professionalism and confidentiality  
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
